Mercedes-Benz meets executives of Evolt, Thailand’s leading EV charging company, on the test drive of EQS 500 4MATIC AMG Premium

As part of Mercedes-Benz Thailand’s efforts to promote the use of 100% electric vehicles in Thailand, EQS 500 4MATIC AMG Premium, a 100% electric car, was taken to the road on Phuket-Hua Hin route during the test drive trip led by Mr. Martin Schwenk, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Limited. The EQS’s range can drive up to 702 kilometers per full charge. Mr. Martin Schwenk met with Mr. Wisaroot Amornchaijaroen, Chief Business Officer of Evolt Technology Company Limited (Evolt), Thailand’s leading EV charging company during EQS charging at Evolt Technology’s charging station.

Evolt Technology is one of the key partners in Mercedes-Benz Thailand’s expansion project for electric vehicle charging stations. Mercedes-Benz has installed a DC Charging Station in partnership with Evolt Technology at Mercedes-Benz’s Vehicle Preparation Center (VPC) as well as a charging point in the parking lot of Mode Sathorn Hotel to facilitate the charging of electric vehicles.

EQS 500 4MATIC AMG Premium is the first 100% electric vehicle from Mercedes-EQ that has officially started production in Thailand. Powered by 108.4 kWh battery, the dual electric motor generates up to 449 hp and a total maximum torque of 828 Nm. This vehicle comes with 702 kilometers EV range per full charge according to WLTP standards. The vehicle can be charged from 0-100% within 10 hours on AC charge with a maximum charging capacity of 11 kWh while 200 kWh DC charge can energize the car from 10-80% within 31 minutes.
