SCB Protect joins hands with 12 EV partners, taking the lead in future protection test
Bangkok – August 31, 2022: Taking the lead in future protection, SCB Protect Co., Ltd. Green products, including green energy and electric vehicles (EVs) in particular, have seen exponential growth. People are more interested in EVs thanks to such supporting factors as the government’s policy to promote EVs and high and volatile gas prices. These trends are in line with the SCB Economic Intelligence Center’s (EIC) forecast of 17.6% growth in EV sales in Thailand between 2022 – 2030. Growth in the domestic EV market will help Thailand shift more quickly toward a low carbon society.
Taking the lead in future protection, SCB Protect has joined hands with 12 business partners in green energy sectors, covering EV rental & sharing (EVme, SIXT, and HAUP), EV charging stations & chargers (EA Anywhere, on-ion, SHARGE, EV MALL, CHOSEN, EVolt, and PROMPTCHARGE), and car maintenance (FIT Auto and COCKPIT), with support from SCB Auto Finance and SCB Card business units.
In the “Protect your future with SCB Protect and get a chance to drive an EV for a year for free” campaign”, SCB Protect also unveiled “EV insurance” through an online channel at https://online.scbprotect.co.th/ providing coverage of up to 50,000 baht including wall box protection and special discounts.
